Departments in the Office of the Prosecutor General
The Office of the Prosecutor General is led by the Prosecutor General. The Deputy Prosecutor General acts as the Prosecutor General’s substitute. The office comprises two departments: the Operative support department and the Prosecution department. The departments are further divided into a total of eight units.

Operative support department
The Operative support department consists of four units:
- Personnel unit
- Financial and procurement unit
- Information unit
- Management support unit
The Operative support unit is led by the Administrative director. Every unit is additionally led by a unit chief. The communications team is part of the Management support unit.
Prosecution department
The Operations Support Department consists of four units:
- Judicial unit
- Steering unit
- Police crimes unit
- Backlog reduction unit
The Prosecution department is led by a State prosecutor. Every unit has additionally its own unit chief.
