For the media
Communications of the National Prosecution Authority are handled by the communications team working at the Office of the Prosecutor General. The communications team is available on weekdays during office hours from 08:00 to 16:15.
The communications team assists you in contacting an individual prosecutor and can provide information on general matters related to the operations of the National Prosecution Authority.

All press releases issued by the National Prosecution Authority are available on our Press releases page.
Our releases are also published via the ePressi service, where you can subscribe to receive them directly by email.
Please note that press releases are generally published in Finnish and Swedish only. Releases concerning selected prosecution decisions that have attracted international attention are also issued in English.
Each prosecutor answers questions regarding consideration of charges in their own cases. The National Prosecution Authority does not have a separate media spokesperson.
