Whistleblowing channel
Whistleblowers from outside National Prosecution Authority Finland, such as stakeholders, partners and former employees may report misconduct they have witnessed in the operations of National Prosecution Authority Finland to the Office of the Chancellor of Justice.
A report to the Chancellor of Justice’s whistleblowing channel can be made if
- the three general conditions for whistleblower protection are met. Read the conditions here
A public official working for National Prosecution Authority Finland may file a report if
- the whistleblower cannot file a report in National Prosecution Authority’s internal whistleblowing channel
- the whistleblower has reasonable grounds to believe that measures based on an internal report have not been taken within the time limit, or that the misconduct cannot be effectively addressed with such measures or
- the whistleblower has reasonable grounds to believe that they may be subjected to reprisals due to their report.
